GSAC Teaching Artist Biography

ROSLYN N. CARRIER-BRAULT (Photography), is an award winning fine art photographer whose work uses conventional and digital photography, video and mixed media. She mastered her craft in San Diego, CA at Grossmont College, which is affiliated with the Museum of Photographic Arts. Roslyn was the Chairman for the Shoreline Art Alliance's 20th-Anniversary show for Connecticut photographers, IMAGES 2001. She has taught beginning photographic classes for children and adults at the Tracy Art Center in Old Saybrook, CT. Web site: roslynncarrierbrault.com

Photo Journalism Fall 2009 Overview

Photo Journalism 2009 is a Green Street Arts Center Afterschool Program club. The Afterschool Program is open to area students between the ages of 7 and 18, offering them a safe place to go each weekday afternoon and giving them the opportunity to enrich their lives through the arts and learn other transferable skills. In Photo Journalism the children are engaged in learning how to work with digital cameras and to write articles about their personal interests, Green Street activities and Middletown events.
